Brief Overview of Lindow Man:Lindow Man, found in 1984 by workmen of an English peat bog, Lindow Moss, Cheshire. After scientific dating and examining, it was proven that Lindow Man had died between A.D. 50 and A.D. 100. This discovery caused a media sensation, with a very astonishing fact: instead of common theories such as being homeless or starvation as the reason of death; Lindow Man proved to be of a good status in wealth with no signs of rough work or treatment. Scientists later discovered the man was murdered by being struck on the top of his head twice with a heavy object, along with blows to the back, which caused broken rids. A thin cord was also tied around his neck to strangle him to death, and his neck was broken along the way. After his death, his throat was cut.
This was further developed into many absurd theories; one including the man was a victim of a murder sacrifice. The body is now preserved in British Museum, with the technique of freeze-drying. |
